What we’re looking forward to: Better Call Saul episode 310: Lantern

Tomorrow marks the finale of Better Call Saul’s third season. In what looks to be a very busy episode, here’s what we’re most excited for.

In the week leading up to the Better Call Saul season three finale, we’ve looked at the episode’s trailer, sneak peek and teaser photos. With all that in mind, here are the top three things that we’re looking forward to from tomorrow night’s episode!

Where does Kim go from here?

Better Call Saul’s last episode concluded with Kim falling asleep at the wheel and crashing into a ditch. Because it was the final scene, we’re not sure what the severity of her injuries are. Regardless, we’re curious what affect the accident will have on her relationships and career going into season four. Personally, I could say Kim being tentative about going forward with her relationship with Jimmy. After all, he’s the reason that she was forced to burn the candle at both ends. At the very least, I’m sure she’ll be rethinking her and Jimmy’s current setup. We didn’t see or hear from Kim in any of this week’s promotional elements, so whatever happens will come as a surprise.

HHM coming apart at the seams

For much of this season, Howard and Chuck have been divided in their opinions. Their conflict came to a head last week with Howard pushing Chuck toward retirement and Chuck threatening to sue. Tomorrow’s finale will either see the disagreement put to rest or potentially set up a court case for next season. Additionally, as we talked about earlier this week, things could end up going especially disastrous for Chuck. The trailer for tomorrow’s episode includes a scene where Chuck is likely talking to Howard about conflict resolution. Obviously though, we don’t see Howard’s answer or any real context for the scene.

Nacho’s nightmare scenario

The past few episodes of Better Call Saul saw Nacho formulate and carry out a plan to murder Hector Salamanca. With the plan seeming to have failed, Nacho was forced to come clean about his involvement with the Cartel to his father. Now, after the sneak peek for this week’s episode, we see that Hector will be forcefully taking over Nacho’s father’s business. In addition to the face-to-face conflict between Hector and Mr. Varga, I’m excited to see what Nacho’s next move is.
